Refund Policy - the basics

If you must cancel your child’s registration, please notify us as soon as possible by email at PCYFsailing@gmail.com or by phone at (805) 974-0059. Our staff scheduling, safety planning, and equipment preparation are based on the number of students registered in each session. Vacancies from late cancellations or no-shows are often difficult to fill on short notice.

Refunds are issued according to the following schedule:

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled week receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 15–29 days in advance receive a 75% refund.

  • Cancellations made 8–14 days in advance receive a 50% refund.

  • No refunds are available within 7 days of the first day of the session.

If the program must cancel a session due to weather, safety conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, families will be offered the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund.

Transfers to another available session may be possible on request, depending on space and staffing.
