To the Parents and Sponsors of the Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation Sailing Camp Students:

We are now planning for the 2021 sailing season.  Please stand by for updates and changes to this website. Depending on the status of COVID_19, we expect to start our program the middle of June, 2021. We expect to again have an excellent staff of instructors and equipment. We are looking forward to meeting lots of great young sailors for an educational and fun experience

If you have any questions about this notice, please contact us.

Our Mission

The goal of the program is to develop good sailing skills, good overall seamanship and racing skills with a primary focus on water safety.

Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation Summer Sailing Camp, Serving Youth ages 8-18 in Channel Islands, Oxnard, and Ventura County.

Every year since 1992, PCYF has offered our Summer Sailing Program in 4 two week sessions. The program is open to all area children, ages 8 to 18.

With the inclusion of four new Optimist sailboats as well as Sabots, Lasers, and FJs, campers learn basic sailing skills which are supplemented with boating safety activities.

Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation serves all of Channel Islands Harbor and its surrounding communities and receives support from Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club, Anacapa Yacht Club, Channel Islands Yacht Club, Channel Islands Women’s Sailing Association, and the community.

We also receive scholarship grants from the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating & Waterways.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme proudly received the National Merit Award for Sports, Fitness and Recreation for its “Mast the Sail” program.

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation and Seabridge Marina, non-profit organizations that instruct youth sailing in the Channel Islands Harbor.
